Xie LingHui (b.1988), currently lives and works in Hangzhou. Graduated from 2nd studio of oil painting in China Academy of Art (B.A.), guareenteed acceptance to 3rd studio of oil painting in China Academy of Art and received M.A. degree.

Xie uses her female sensitivity to capture and amplify the observation of changes in her body and emotions. Her recent work uses her iconic florescent pink with mixed-media methods of graffiti and collage, attempting to fight against media overload by creating an even greater sensory overload, therefore recalling the body’s own sensual experience.

Xie Linghui's recent solo exhibition history includes "Life, Body", Fuyan Commune, Beijing, China, 2019; "Life, Body", CITIC Pacific Plaza, Shanghai, China, 2019; "Solo Exhibition of Xie Linghui", Yi Space, Shanghai, China, 2019; as well as dual dual exhibition "The Phenomenon", Quantum Gallery, Shanghai, China, 2019. She also participated actively in various group exhibitions, such as, "Because of Painting", Xiangshan Commune, Hangzhou, China, 2019; "MEI Exhibition", Himalayan Art Museum, Shanghai, China, 2018; "Inter-youth International Youth Painting Exhibition", Art Museum of China Academy of Art, Hangzhou, China, 2017; "Offshore 2", M Gallery, Shanghai, China, 2016 and etc. Her works are currently collected by established institutions such as the West Lake Museum of Contemporary Art (China), Guangzhou Art Museum (China), and Minsheng Art Museum (China) and many others.
