Hosted by Quantum Gallery, co-hosted by Banana Art Space, "Unveiled Bright: Wang Chao Solo Exhibition & Concealed Light: Sun Datang Solo Exhibition" will be simultaneously presented at Quantum Gallery from Dec.21st, 2019. The exhibition is curated by Zheng Wen (curator, art critic, vice director of AMNUA), and presented by Wang Chao (currently teaching at Xi'An Academy of Fine Arts) and Sun Datang (currently teaching at Guang Zhou Academy of Fine Arts).

The title of this exhibition originiates from ancient Chinese literature, demonstrating Wang Chao's newest exploration in the brink of unveiling brightness in Chinese ink painting, and Sun Datang's experimentation of concealling the light among digital layers. The two exhibitions are relatively independent, voicing for the internal processing and regeneration of ink and medial arts.

However, the works exhibited forms an obscure dialogue, exploring various everlasting topics among Chinese and foreign art history, such as visibility and invisibility, natural and unnatural, reality and illusion, appearing and concealing, presence and veiling, form and spirit, the self and its resemblence etc.
